Fulham have continued to restructure their squad in an attempt to make a quick return to the Premier League by signing Nikolay Bodurov.

The Bulgaria international has moved to Craven Cottage on a three-year contract after spending five years with Litex Lovech in his homeland.

Bodurov can play at full-back or in a central defensive position, and the 28-year-old’s experience could be vital in the push for promotion.

“Fulham FC is delighted to announce the permanent signing of Bulgarian international Nikolay Bodurov,” the club said in a statement.

It has been a busy summer for the Londoners with 20 players having departed following relegation from the Premier League last season.

Meanwhile, Ross McCormack, Kay Voser, Thomas Eisfeld, Tim Hoogland, Adil Chihi, Mahamadou Diarra, Shaun Hutchinson and Adam Taggart have all signed permanent deals along with Bodurov, while Kostas Stafylidis has joined on loan from Bayer Leverkusen.
