Fulham manager Martin Jol insists a loan move for Catania striker Maxi Lopez remains a 'non-starter'.
The Cottagers are thought to be in the market for a new striker and had been linked with the 27-year-old Argentine.
Lopez is thought to be heading to AC Milan if they miss out on Manchester City's Carlos Tevez.
Jol remains keen on a loan signing, but insists the ex-Barcelona and FC Moscow man will not be moving to Craven Cottage.
Situation
"We said we would like to do something on loan with one or two players," said Jol.
"Catania were probably not in a situation to put Maxi Lopez, who is a good player and scored some goals for them, on loan.
"I don't think he will go anywhere else on loan. If is a non-starter."
