Hull City have confirmed Jimmy Bullard has been suspended for a breach of club discipline.

Midfielder's future thrown into doubt after incident

Hull City have confirmed Jimmy Bullard has been suspended for a breach of club discipline. Bullard was suspended by the club earlier this week following an alleged incident during last week's training camp in Slovenia. The 32-year-old was omitted from Hull's 2-1 pre-season victory at non-league Winterton Rangers on Wednesday night. Hull are keen to offload Bullard, as he does not figure in Nigel Pearson's plans and they look to get him off the wage bill at the KC Stadium. Bullard spent last season on loan at Ipswich and Paul Jewell was thought to be keen on making the move permanent, but a deal has failed to materialise. Queens Park Rangers have also held talks with Bullard about a possible move to Loftus Road, but a deal is yet to be agreed. Bullard's suspension has thrown his future into doubt, as although Hull are willing to offload him, they cannot find a club who will match his wages.
