Fulham boss Mark Hughes is hopeful of having Philippe Senderos available before the end of the season.
Senderos joined Fulham on a free transfer from Arsenal last summer, but he is yet to make his debut for the Cottagers after rupturing his Achilles in pre-season.
The Swiss international is now back in full training along with fellow defender Rafik Halliche and Hughes hopes he can give the defender his long-awaited debut before the end of the season.
"Philippe's doing really well. He hasn't got the fitness of the majority of the squad because of the time he has had out," Hughes told the Fulham Chronicle.
"Rafik Halliche is a little bit ahead of him in terms of his fitness.
"We would like to get Philippe a taste of the action but we will have to wait and see."
