Former Hornets shot-stopper pens Brentford deal

Goalkeeper Richard Lee has joined Brentford from Watford on a two-year deal as manager Andy Scott's first summer signing. The 27-year-old shot-stopper, who came through the academy at Vicarage Road, penned a professional deal with the Hornets in 2001 and went on to make 110 appearances for the club. And Lee, who spent the 2005-06 season on loan at Blackburn, is looking forward to a completely fresh start. "It's a fantastic challenge for me and I really can't wait," Lee told Brentford's official website. "It's also a big step having been with Watford since I was 11. "I know David Hunt very well and he has said good things about the club and from what I've seen and heard I'm very impressed and had no hesitation in signing."
