Winger has contract terminated by mutual consent

Fulham have agreed to cancel the contract of Seol Ki-hyeon with the winger close to finalising a deal to join Hong Kong-based outfit South China. The South Korean international was desperate to play first-team football in order to secure a place at the World Cup finals in South Africa this summer. The 31-year-old has started just once this season with a further four appearances coming off the bench and decided the time was right to move on. The former Reading ace signed for the Cottagers in 2007 and had, according to reports, favoured a move back to the Madejski Stadium. However Seol now looks likely to return to the Far East with South China. "Seol has decided to leave to leave us," manager Roy Hodgson said. "We wish him all the best. He has been a good servant in his time at the club and he has been here longer than me. "Whenever he was called upon he's gone out and done his best."
