Clough delighted to sign cover at right-back

Derby manager Nigel Clough has ended his search for cover at right-back by signing Fulham's Fredrik Stoor on a one-month loan deal. The Rams boss recently admitted he was keen to secure support for Paul Connolly, and he was linked with Stoke's Ryan Shotton and Manchester City's Javan Vidal. Derby have instead reached an agreement with Fulham boss Roy Hodgson to take Sweden international Stoor, who has struggled with the Premier League club. Clough is confident the short-term contract will prove a success as Derby bid to improve on a flat start to the season in the Championship. He told Derby's official website: "This is a terrific capture for us and I'd like to thank Roy Hodgson and everyone at Fulham for allowing us to take him on loan. "He is a defender of international quality, who will certainly improve our squad." Stoor is available to make his debut in the Championship clash with Bristol City at Pride Park on Saturday afternoon.
