Collins John has left Fulham and returned to Holland to sign for NEC Nijmegen.
The 22-year-old was told earlier this summer by Fulham boss Roy Hodgson that he could leave the club for free.
Now NEC have agreed terms with John to switch to the Goffertstadion.
John, who has two Dutch caps to his name, began his career with FC Twente before joining Fulham in 2004.
He has also spent spells on loan at Leicester and Watford during his time in England, but he is now back in the Eredivisie.
