Rangers have finally agreed a fee with Fulham for midfielder Steven Davis.
The Cottagers have confirmed that they have accepted a bid of around £3million, although the deal is still subject to personal terms being agreed.
"Steven came up with us but then went up to Glasgow to speak to them and he's now back in London," a spokeswoman explained after Fulham's 2-1 defeat to Hull.
Davis spent the second half of last season on loan at Ibrox and helped the club reach the Uefa Cup final.
The Northern Ireland international now looks set to join on a permanent basis as Walter Smith continues to strengthen his squad.
