Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd insists that contrary to popular belief he has not received any bids for Marlon King.
The Jamaican international striker grabbed his 11th Championship goal of the season in the 3-0 win against Southampton on New Year's Day and is a key part of Watford's push for promotion.
The fact that King was injured for the vast majority of last season came as a real blow to the Hornets' chances of retaining their Premier League status and their inadequacies in front of goal proved to be their downfall.
Fulham, who themselves have struggled for goals in the top-flight this season, are believed to be interested in the player but Boothroyd is adamant that he is not for sale.
No approach
"It would have to be an incredibly lucrative offer for me to let any of our players go because we're where we are and we want to get back in the Premier League," he told Sky Sports News.
"So selling somebody who's been outstanding for the club doesn't appeal to me at all. I don't want him to go and that's it.
"There's been no approach from any club and I don't expect there to be any because once you say no then that's a no."
