New Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws has made Fulham's veteran goalkeeper Mark Crossley his first loan signing.
The former Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough custodian joins The Owls until January 1, as he looks to get some first-team action with the Hillsborough club after recovering from an early-season injury.
Laws knows Crossley from their time together at Forest, and the former Grimsby Town and Scunthorpe United manager was pleased to secure the 37-year-old's services.
"I'm delighted Fulham have allowed him out," Laws told Wednesday's official website.
"I know Mark well, he's experienced and is a good organiser.
"He brings a work ethic and a calming influence to the team and is also a good passer of the ball."
