Fulham boss Chris Coleman has praised Zat Knight following his strong showing in the 2-1 victory over Newcastle.
The defender made his first Premiership appearance of the season against The Magpies last Saturday, and impressed Coleman even though he was substituted when Fulham were trailing 1-0.
Coleman believes the hard work Knight is doing in training is paying off, but warned the 26-year-old that he would need to keep it up in order to establish himself in the side again.
"Zat has been fantastic in training," hailed the Cottagers coach.
"He is a good player and still has a lot of potential.
"He wants his place back in the side and now it's up to him to prove himself."
