Fulham will be without defender Philippe Christanval for at least three weeks due to a hamstring injury.

The former Barcelona defender hobbled out of The Cottagers' 1-1 draw with Charlton on Monday night.

Fulham have a host of matches in the upcoming weeks and the timing of the injury is a massive blow for manager Chris Coleman.

"The phantom hamstring injury strikes again," bemoaned The Cottagers' Welsh tactician.

Christanval is now set to miss out against Liverpool and Wigan in The Premiership, along with their Carling Cup clash against West Brom.
