SOCHAUX have told Fulham that Senegal star Omar Daf is not for sale.
The West London outfit are looking for a permanent replacement for Steve Finnan, who departed for Liverpool this summer.
They have brought in youngster Moritz Volz on loan from Arsenal, but manager Chris Coleman wants to add some more experience to his squad.
The 26-year-old Daf, who plays at right back, was one name targeted by Coleman.
However, Fulham informed Sochaux that they would be only willing to pay ‚é¼1.5 million - but the French club wanted more than double that before they would even consider a sale.
Fulham are now looking elsewhere, but they are facing a race against time to bolster their squad before the transfer deadline on Monday.
