OLDHAM have completed the loan capture of defender Mark Hudson from Fulham.
The centre half will spend at least the next month at Boundary Park, as manager Iain Dowie looks to increase his options in defence.
Oldham currently have a transfer embargo placed on them, meaning they had to seek special dispensation from the Football League to sign Hudson.
Latics chief executive Alan Hardy, speaking to the club`s website, said: "As we are in Administration we are unable to undertake any transfer dealings. There is an embargo on us.
"However our current situation with players' injuries meant we had to ask the League if they would allow us to bring in a player.
"They were understanding of our position and gave us the green light to proceed on this occasion."
