GALATASARAY coach Fatih Terim has revealed there has been no offer from Fulham for Emre Asik but admitted he would be powerless to prevent the defender joining The Cottagers.

Fulham are believed to be interested in the Turkish international as manager Jean Tigana seeks to bolster his squad ahead of the transfer deadline.

But Gala boss Terim is eager to hold on to the services of the full back, although he would be reluctant to stand in Emre Asik's way if he wanted to move to Loftus Road.

"There is no official offer for Emre Asik from Fulham," Terim told Star TV.

"We need Emre but if he wants to go, we can give permission, of course."

Terim also admitted he is fully aware of the flurry of transfer speculation during the summer since Turkey's impressive World Cup showing.

Gala playmaker Hasan Sas was his nation's shining star in their march to the semi-finals in the Far East but Terim revealed there are no offers on the table for any of his players.

He added: "I read lots of speculation about Gala players.

"I have read stories about Hasan Sas but there was no official offer for Hasan.

"Agents talk with reporters so we can read many stories. There are no official offers for our players."
