MILAN IN TALKS WITH FULHAM

OLIVER BIERHOFF could be handed the choice of a move to Fulham or Paris Saint Germain, as his Milan career looks over.

The Rossoneri are believed to be negotiating with the clubs from the capitals of England and France in a bid to off-load the German international, even though his contract does not expire until 2002.

The arrival of Filippo Inzaghi should hasten the 33-year-old's departure with Bierhoff looking for a fresh challenge.

Jean Tigana is still keen to add a target man to his ranks, after missing out on Jan Koller, and the experienced former Udinese star certainly fits the bill.

However, PSG are also in the frame as Peter Luccin may be set for Milan, and a swap deal is being discussed.

Cyril Domoraud has also been forwarded as a possible bargaining chip for Luccin, with Internazionale previously keen on young midfielder Luccin.

Luis Fernandez is not over-enthusiastic about any capture of Bierhoff, due to the player's sizeable salary, and Fulham are considered favourites to land the Euro 96 final hero.
