LUIS BOA MORTE has joined Fulham in a one-year loan deal from Southampton, but Cottagers boss Jean Tigana could be set to further add to his squad during next week.

The former Arsenal flyer has had an unhappy spell on the South coast, and criticised Saints coach Glenn Hoddle for his tactics.

"I'm happy to have this opportunity with Fulham," the 22-year-old stated. "I was a championship winner and FA Cup winner at Arsenal, but I was disappointed with what happened when I joined Southampton.

"I did not have the same ideas about tactics as Mr Hoddle, and I hope I can join Fulham permanently."

Meanwhile, Heart of Midlothian full back Gary Naysmith is high on Tigana’s shopping list and he may be set to offer the Edinburgh side £1.5 million for the highly-rated defender.

Hearts are desperate to cut their wage bill and an offer for the 21-year-old may prove too tempting to resist.

Another reported addition to the Craven Cottage squad could be former World Footballer of the Year George Weah.

The Liberian striker, who had his contract cancelled by mutual consent at Milan, is said to be jetting into London to discuss personal terms with Tigana.

A host of other teams are interested in Weah, including Roma and Bologna, and this would be a massive coup for the capital club.
