Middlesbrough youngster Charlie Wyke has joined League One side Hartlepool on a month-long loan deal.
The striker, 19, signed a three-year deal at the Riverside in the summer but has been sent out to neighbours Hartlepool to gain first-team experience.
"He came in and trained with us and from day one he looked really good," said Neale Cooper.
"He's a good size, has good feet and has shown a great attitude to training so we're sure he will be a good addition for us.
"Charlie is renowned for his finishing and we've been impressed by that, but overall he's just fitted in really well so it will be good to take a look at him in competitive action.
"I'd like to thank Middlesbrough for their help on this and hopefully the player will benefit us and but also gain from the experience."
