"A deal is close, 90 per cent I would say," his representative Luca Cominelli told
Sky Sports.
A number of other Championship clubs are known to be keen on Ledesma, including Nottingham Forest, while Walsall also wanted him to remain with them.
But Boro look to have won the race for his signature and should tie up the move shortly.
