Middlesbrough striker Kris Boyd is currently in Turkey holding talks with Eskisehirspor, skysports.com understands.
The Scottish international joined Boro last year on a Bosman transfer from Rangers.
But the 27-year-old did not make the expected impact and he spent the latter part of the season on loan at Nottingham Forest.
Boro are looking to cut their own costs and moving on Boyd, one of their highest earners, has become a priority.
The Teesside outfit have now given permission for Boyd to talk with Turkish top-flight outfit Eskisehirspor - who have recently signed former Celtic striker Diomansy Kamara.
Boyd is now in Turkey to talk with the club and check on the facilities before deciding whether it is a move that appeals to him.
