Midfielder not available until at least the summer

Ludovic Sylvestre may be interesting numerous clubs in England, but he will not be available until the summer. The 25-year-old midfielder is reported to be target for a host of teams during the January transfer window, with Middlesbrough, Sheffield United and Leicester City among them. The skilful player, who can boast the likes of Barcelona, Nancy and Sparta Prague on an impressive CV, is currently on the books of Czech outfit Mlada Boleslav. They have no plans of parting with Sylvestre any time soon, with sporting director Zdenek Kudela adamant that no deal will be sanctioned during the winter window. He has refused to rule out the possibility of an agreement being struck at the end of the season, but insists Sylvestre will remain with Mlada for the remainder of the 2009/10 campaign. "We have registered interest from certain English clubs, but I don't want to be any more specific," Kudela told Sport.cz. "I can confirm that Ludovic Sylvestre will be playing for Mlada Boleslav in the spring part of the season." He added: "What happens in the summer does not concern us at all at the moment."
