Striker is new target for Strachan

Skysports.com understands Celtic forward Chris Killen is the latest target for Middlesbrough boss Gordon Strachan. Strachan is actively looking to raid his former club to bolster his squad at the Riverside with Gary Caldwell, Barry Robson and Mark Wilson all linked with a move to Teesside. New Zealand international Killen is now believed to be on Strachan's radar with forward reinforcements one of his main priorities in this month's transfer window. Killen, who is out of contract in the summer, is well down the pecking order at Parkhead and Bhoys boss Tony Mowbray is willing to let him move on. Boro are thought to be exploring the possibility of taking the former Oldham on loan with Killen thought to be keen on a move as he searches for regular first-team football ahead of this summer's World Cup finals.
