Rams forward could be on the way to the Riverside

Sky Sports sources understand that Middlesbrough have made a £3million bid for Derby striker Rob Hulse. The 29-year-old has been a long-term target of Boro and the Teesside club now have cash to spend after the sales of Tuncay Sanli and Robert Huth. Hulse scored 15 goals in the Championship last season and Derby are reportedly keen to hold on to the former Leeds and Sheffield United forward. However, the Rams could be tempted to cash in on Hulse, with Gareth Southgate known to be a keen admirer of the striker. Boro are short of options in attack and a target man is reportedly Southgate's number one priority.
