Oldham have signed Middlesbrough defender Seb Hines on loan.
The League One outfit almost snapped up the England youth international on transfer deadline day but the move fell through.
Now the Latics have landed Hines, who has recently penned a new two-and-half-year deal at the Riverside, on an initial month-long spell.
The 20-year-old, who has just returned to the club from a loan stint at Derby, has now agreed to join Oldham and is in line to make his debut against Northampton on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Boro have allowed winger Graeme Owens to extend his loan at Blackpool by a further month.
