Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood is hoping to keep loan duo Josh Walker and Sone Aluko at Pittodrie next season.
Aluko is on a season-long loan from Birmingham, while Walker joined Aberdeen from Middlesbrough on loan until the end of the season during the January transfer window.
The duo shone in Thursday's impressive 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich with the midfield pair scoring a goal each.
Both players are due to return to their parent clubs at the end of the season, but Calderwood believes the duo would benefit from staying longer in Scotland.
Better off"They would be better off staying up here longer but that's me being biased.
"I'm not sure what Gareth [Southgate] and Alex [McLeish] think, we'll have to wait and see.
"The lads are not yet ready to go into the Premiership. Football-wise they're capable but it's a big physical league."
