Fabio Rochemback insists he has no problems at Middlesbrough after again being linked with a transfer window switch away from Teesside.

Monaco are scouring Europe for midfield reinforcements and along with Gelson Fernandes of Manchester City, they are believed to have highlighted Rochemback as one of their top targets.

Boro's are yet to decide whether to take up the two-year option they have on Rochemback - but a major upturn in his form has seen him become an intergral part of Gareth Southgate's side over the past 12 months.

The Brazil international says that after struggling to adapt at first, he is now more than happy with life at Boro.

Happy

"It's important for me to be playing regularly and I think I've kept the level of my performances high," the 26-year-old told the club's website.

"The more I play the better I think that I will get, together with the rest of the team.

"The first year was difficult for me but now I'm settled into the area and the style of the league and there are no problems.

"My aim is to stay in the team and have a good season. Every game is a new game and it's my challenge to help take the team as far as it can go."

Meanwhile, Boro have been boosted by the news that Jonathan Woodgate, Mido and Emanuel Pogatetz have all returned to training and could feature against Blackburn at the weekend.
