Middlesbrough's Emanuel Pogatetz is hoping to feature against Bolton this weekend.
The Austrian stopper played for Boro's reserves on Tuesday against Manchester United and he came through the entire 90 minutes without any problems.
Pogatetz had summer surgery on both his knees but he has now declared himself fully fit and ready to play - which puts him in contention for the weekend's Premier League clash at Bolton.
"I'm happy, it was my first 90 minutes for a long, long time and I felt really comfortable," said Pogatetz.
"My knees are fine, there is no problem with my fitness and I feel I'm there now.
"Maybe I will be on the bench for Bolton and maybe I can travel with the squad.
"I've had three weeks of football and loads of fitness work and I can't wait to get back.
"It's in the gaffer's hands but if he wants me I'm ready.
"It's a tough time for the team at the moment and that's why I'm pushing to get back and I'm ahead of schedule."
