Middlesbrough defenders Emanuel Pogatetz and Robert Huth make their return from injury on Tuesday.
The pair will feature alongside each other in the heart of Boro's reserve side which faces Manchester United.
Pogatetz has not played since the summer following surgery on both his knees, whilst Huth has not figured for the first-team since April - mainly due to an ankle problem.
"Mani and Robert are both still a little way off but it's encouraging that they are on the road," said Boro boss Gareth Southgate, who hopes to have Jonathan Woodgate and Mido back from injury in time to face Bolton at the weekend.
"I would think Jonathan will be available for the weekend. It was disappointing to be without him but we are getting used to injury disappointments.
"We are hoping that Mido's injury will have settled down by Sunday but I think he is unlikely.
"There will be a temptation to throw him in but we have got to be sensible.
"We kept doing it over the last few weeks and none of us have benefited from it.
"So it's important to get him up to full speed and he will be a new signing for us when he gets back in the fray."
