Jeremie Aliadiere is confident the goals will soon start to flow for him and his fellow Middlesbrough forwards.
Boro have been hit by chronic attacking injury problems over recent weeks, with summer signings Mido and Tuncay Sanli amongst those suffering on the sidelines.
However, hopes are high that Mido and Tuncay will be back in action to add a cutting edge to the Boro forward line for The Riverside clash with Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.
Boro, who have scored only three goals in their last five games, could also be boosted by the return of Aliadiere for the trip to Manchester United on 27th October.
Aliadiere, who has yet to score for Boro since his £2.5million summer move from Arsenal, insists his side will soon rediscover their goal scoring touch.
"We have created a lot of chances this season, so that is very positive," said Aliadiere.
"The manager says we must continue to believe in our football, and if we do that, we will score goals.
"Whatever teams we play against, we have created a lot of chances, but we have not always taken them.
"When you look at the league table, we know we need to put the chances in the goal to win games and get confidence for the team.
"That is our target. We need to score as many goals as possible."
