The Brazilian World Cup-winner had his Boro contract terminated earlier this week after just a few months at The Riverside.
Ricardinho failed to establish himself with the Carling Cup winners and was allowed to leave before his deal expired in the summer.
Brazilian outfit Corinthians have now revealed they are looking to negotiate with the 27-year-old regarding a return to the club.
The midfielder spent three years with Corinthians before leaving for Sao Paulo in 2002, who he quit at the turn of this year.
Corinthians vice president Antonio Roque Citadini admits he will pull out all the stops to bring Ricardinho back to the club.
"Once we knew that he had ended his contract with the English team, and that he is out of contract, we started to contact him to negotiate his arrival at Corinthians," said Citadini.
"He has already been in contact with several people from the club and has even spoken with me so we will try to do the best on our part to have him in the team soon."
