Geremi spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough, after being told he was not needed by Del Bosque.
However, the African star is hoping to get another chance to prove his worth with the Spanish champions.
Middlesbrough have attempted to make his move permanent, but Real refuse to budge on their near £10 million asking price - which is more than twice as much the Teessiders are willing to pay.
Manchester United have also shown an interest, but it seems Geremi may well start the new season with Real.
"The decision not to renew him [del Bosque] was a decision for the directors, not me," he said.
"I have two years left on my contract and I would like to fulfil them.
"First it will be necessary to see who the new trainer is, but I hope that I will get a chance."
Geremi is currently in France playing for Cameroon in the Confederations Cup.
