NOTTINGHAM FOREST are believed to be interested in bringing Mark Crossley back to the club.

Crossley is currently at Middlesbrough, with the club believed to be keen to hang on to the veteran's services.

However, Forest boss Paul Hart is keen to bring the experienced custodian back to the club in which he rose to prominence.

Crossley had been linked with a move to Premiership side Birmingham earlier this summer, after the player was loaned out to Stoke last season.

However, the history Crossley has with Forest is sure to make them tempting suitors, despite his fan-favourite status at Boro.

The 34-year-old spent 13 years with the club after coming through the youth ranks - emerging in the Brian Clough era and playing five times for Wales.
