Hutch gets Scotland call

WEST HAM star Don Hutchison has been called into the Scotland Future squad for the game with Turkey this week.

The former Liverpool and Everton ace is still regaining his fitness after a serious knee injury and Scotland boss Berti Vogts would like to give him much-needed match practice.

"Don has shown he is committed to Scotland and he needs match practice," said Vogts.

"I know he played against West Brom - but he still needs more match practice."

Vogts' plans for the game on Tuesday in Antalya have been hit by the withdrawals of 12 players from the original squad.

As a result Nottingham Forest's Chris Doig, Chelsea's Warren Cummings, Aberdeen ace Jamie McAllister, Hearts defender Andy Webster, Middlesbrough star Robbie Stockdale and West Ham's new recruit David Noble have all been added to the squad
