Manchester City midfielder James Milner hopes he can win a new deal to extend his stay at the club.
Milner is in the final 18 months of his contract at the Etihad Stadium and as yet there have been no talks over a new deal.
The former Leeds and Aston Villa man admits it is frustrating that he does not play every game for Manuel Pellegrini's side, but insists he would love to stay at City
"I want to play every game but I know that's not possible at Manchester City," Milner told the Sunday Mirror.
"I love being here, even though there is great competition for places, and I would love to stay.
"I'd love to stay at the club, but that's a decision for the club to make and me as well."
