Cruzeiro defender Dede insists he has not been approached by any clubs after being linked with several leading European teams.
Speculation has claimed that Manchester United have shown an interest in the centre-half, along with his team-mate Everton Ribeiro.
Real Madrid are also reported to be keeping tabs on Dede, who only joined Cruzeiro from domestic rivals Vasco da Gama in April last year.
The 25-year-old helped Cruzeiro to win the Brazilian title and is unaware of any offers for his services in the January transfer window.
"Imagine going to Real Madrid now?" Dede told O Tempo. "I don't know, I think I haven't received anything.
"I'll ask director of football Alexandre Mattos. I have not received anything lately, but I'll try to find out."
Manchester City have also been linked with Dede, but the Brazil international's agent Giuliano Aranda echoed his client's view that there have been no bids.
Aranda told UOL: "Clubs always sound out and make contact with any top-class player, this is normal.
"But there is no offer or negotiations taking place."
