Samir Nasri was happy to see Manchester City maintain their unblemished home record in the Premier League after a 6-0 thrashing of Tottenham Hotspur.
City have now scored 26 goals, conceding just two, in six games at the Etihad Stadium this season, with Sunday's win lifting Manuel Pellegrini's side above Spurs in the table.
Jesus Navas and Sergio Aguero both scored twice as City responded positively to a surprise 1-0 defeat away by Sunderland before the international break.
Although City have won only once on their travels this season, Nasri is pleased with the way the team are performing in front of their own fans.
"It was really good," Nasri told Sky Sports. "We showed once again against the big squads we always respond at home.
"It was a great result, 6-0, and you don't see that often, so we maintained our good form at home."
City scored several eye-catching goals, but midfielder Nasri was also happy with the clean sheet as Costel Pantilimon again started in goal ahead of Joe Hart.
Nasri added: "For me, all the goals were really nice and it's difficult to pick one of them. I think we're happy about the performance and the goals we scored, and the way we played today.
"We scored six goals, but we had the clean sheet as well."
Aguero, who has now scored 15 goals in all competitions this season, added: "I'm very happy. Now, we continue in the same way."
