Sergio Aguero will not be disciplined by the Football Association for his challenge on Chelsea's David Luiz at Wembley.
The Manchester City striker jumped into a tackle from behind on Luiz during his side's FA Cup semi-final win, catching the Brazilian with both sets of studs.
Referee Chris Foy awarded Chelsea a free-kick at the time but did not issue any further punishment.
And because the incident was dealt with by the match officials, the FA rules do not allow for retrospective action.
Aguero, who scored City's second goal in a 2-1 victory, will remain available for Wednesday's game against next month's final opponents Wigan.
