Paraguay striker Lucas Barrios has revealed he is keen on a move to the Premier League in the January transfer window after failing to settle in China.
The 28-year-old only joined Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande from Borussia Dortmund last summer in a deal reportedly worth €12million (£9.7m).
However, he has failed to settle in Asia and has been vocal in his desire to move back to Europe just months into a four-year deal.
Barrios has been linked with a move to Manchester City and Arsenal in the past, while rumours of a move back to former side Colo-Colo have also recently emerged.
Speaking on his personal website Barrios dismissed talk of an imminent return to Colo-Colo, but he did suggest he may well end his career there.
He did confirm though that his agent has been talking to a number of European clubs regarding a January deal, including those from England.
"My agent is going to China to discuss my future with the Guangzhou Evergrande board," he said.
"I am happy that clubs in Italy, England and Germany are tracking me and I want to play there."
