Man City defender reflects on Stoke draw

Manchester City defender Kolo Toure has stressed the importance of winning every game from now on in order to win the Premier League title this season. City dropped two points on Saturday as they were held to a 1-1 draw at Stoke City and are now level on 70 points with title rivals Manchester United. Roberto Mancini's side are currently at the top of the table on better goal difference but United have a game in hand. Toure understands the significance of their failure to win against Stoke but retains confidence in his team.

Important point

"It is difficult to come to the Britannia Stadium and play," he told ESPN after the game. "Today we are disappointed with the two points we could not take, but it is still a good result. "This is a title race and every point is important. "We have to take every game as a final now. Stoke played a good game and put us under pressure."
No panic
Toure's brother and City team-mate Yaya Toure was disappointed with the final result but insisted that they must not press the panic button. "It is very important not to panic," he said. "Today we played against a good team and it is always difficult to play against Stoke. "We have to work hard and continue to believe in ourselves. "It is always difficult to play away from home. Today we met a strong team away and I think that we deserved to draw as Stoke played very well and created problems for us."
