Wanderers boss worrying over Belgian defender's fitness

Bolton manager Owen Coyle is worrying about the fitness of his loan defender Dedryck Boyata due to Joe Riley's recent hamstring injury. Coyle needs a replacement for the young right-back and Boyata would be his first choice if he manages to regain his match fitness. Riley picked up his injury in a training session on Monday which will keep him out of action in this Saturday's Premier league clash against Everton. "Just when you think you have turned a corner, you suffer another little setback," Coyle said. "It puts more onus on Dedryck, who is back in light training." Boyata suffered ankle ligament damage last month in Bolton's 2-0 defeat against Sunderland. He was expected to be injured for around six weeks but is making a swift recovery. "We have to let it run its course," Coyle said. "We cannot put anyone in if he is not fully fit, so we will see if there is any reaction to his training. "Prior to his injury he was in a terrific run of form. We know what Dedryck is all about. I am sure he is destined for great things."
