Belgium international ahead of schedule in race to be fit for Bolton

Dedryck Boyata is ready to answer Owen Coyle's plea to solve the club's injury crisis at right-back for the Everton game. The 20-year-old, who is on-loan from Manchester City, has been at Carrington receiving treatment on an ankle injury. But an injury to fellow rookie Joe Riley means the full-back spot is up for grabs in the Trotters' line-up.

Training

"Dedryck is definitely on his way back," Coyle told the Bolton Evening News. "I don't know if the Everton game will be too quick. But we are hoping he's back training with us at full capacity by the end of the week." Prior to the injury, the young Belgium international had looked like he was starting to find his best form at the Reebok Stadium. And if Boyata can resume the form he showed before he was struck down by injury, Coyle is certain he will make good on his undoubted potential.
Diagnosis
He added: "We all saw prior to his injury how much he was coming on. "He is destined for a big career and it will be great to get him back. "The initial diagnosis was six to eight weeks. He is desperate to get involved and to play."
