Manchester City teenager Mohammed Abu is set to stay on loan at Stromsgodset until at least January.
The Ghanaian midfielder moved to Norway last summer after signing professional forms with City.
And having helped Stromsgodset to win their domestic cup, Abu re-signed for the first half of 2011.
The 19-year-old has continued to impress and has played 13 times so far this season to help Stromsgodset to a current position of fourth in the Norwegian Premier League.
Abu is also likely to appear in Europa League qualifying and is not expected to return to City until 2012.
