City boss doesn't want a repeat

Roberto Mancini has told Emmanuel Adebayor not to repeat his Arsenal goal celebrations from earlier in the season. Adebayor caused uproar when he scored against his former club and ran the full length of the pitch to celebrate in front of the travelling supporters at Eastlands. In an ill-temped match the Manchester City striker also picked up a three-match ban for stamping on Robin van Persie. Mancini, who was not in charge of City for that game, has now warned his striker that he does not want to see a repeat of that this weekend. "I remember the game against Arsenal. I watched it on TV," he said. "I don't know why it happened but in that first game Emmanuel made a mistake. "On Saturday it is important that he only concentrates on City because Emmanuel is important to us when he is doing that. "If he scores again I will be happy but it is important we don't have another situation like the first one."
