Carlisle boss praises impact of Price, Clayton and Marshall

Carlisle United manager Greg Abbott has suggested he wants loan trio Jason Price, Ben Marshall and Adam Clayton in his squad next season. Price is currently on loan from Millwall, where he is out of contract in the summer, and the striker is open to a permanent move to Brunton Park. Clayton and Marshall are on loan from Manchester City and Stoke City respectively, and have impressed Abbott with their impact at the club. Abbott accepts there may be interest from other clubs in Clayton and Marshall, but has hinted he will look into signing the youngsters again, along with Price. "All three have done exceptionally well for us," Abbott told the News & Star. "If you look at our results since Jason has come to the club, they have been terrific. "Adam has proved what a good player he is and while Ben is a relative baby, the time he has had with us has benefited both him and the team and I would be interested in having him back here. "That would depend on what Stoke City's plans are, and other clubs might be interested in the likes of Ben and Adam as well."
