Switzerland's Gelson Fernandes is refusing to give up hope of qualifying for the knock-out stages of Euro 2008.
The co-hosts' European Championship aspirations suffered a setback on Saturday as Czech Republic recorded a 1-0 triumph in Group A.
Manchester City midfielder Fernandes was disappointed with the defeat, but is sure Kobi Kuhn's men have what it takes to bounce back against Turkey on Wednesday.
"It is difficult to take - we are disappointed because we have played well," Fernandes said.
"We created so many chances, but we can't do anything about the missed opportunities or the refereeing decisions now. We can't keep our heads down. We have to keep working hard.
"We are still there and in with a chance. People were expecting a lot of us and it wasn't easy. We are hurt but the group is still very much open."
