Midfielder quits City for Rome return

Manchester City midfielder Ousmane Dabo has rejoined former club Lazio. The former France international quit Lazio for City in the summer of 2006, but he struggled to make an impact in the Premier League. He had featured just once this season under Sven Goran Eriksson and had been deemed surplus to requirements. Dabo's agent had revealed the 30-year-old was keen on a move to Spain, with Real Murcia credited with an interest. But, following the club's Coppa Italia win over Fiorentina on Wednesday night, Lazio have confirmed Dabo is on his way back to Stadio Olimpico. Lazio have given Dabo a three-year contract and will hope he can help the club to climb up the Serie A table.
