Scunthorpe have signed Manchester City youngster Shaleum Logan on a one-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old defender was sent to League Two side Grimsby earlier this season to gain valuable first-team experience.
He impressed for The Mariners, marking his stay with two goals, and has now been brought in by Iron boss Nigel Adkins.
Logan will go straight into the Scunthorpe squad for Saturday's Championship game at Blackpool.
Sven Goran Eriksson handed Logan his Manchester City debut in the Carling Cup win over Bristol City in August, and he also played against Norwich in the next round.
He is contracted to the Premier League club for the next three years.
