Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson has warned the rest of the Premier League his side are only going to get better.
The Eastlands outfit have made their best start to a season in 37 years and are currently sitting in third spot in the table.
Optimism is high at City following last weekend's impressive 3-1 win over Newcastle and Eriksson is confident there is more to come from his cosmopolitan squad.
Better"I think we will get better," Eriksson told The Sun.
"The more we play and train together the better we will get because we can do more tactical work.
"The players are young and hungry and the new ones we have brought in love the Premier League.
"If we go on playing like that, I'm sure we will have an excellent season."
City winger Martin Petrov echoed the sentiments of Eriksson, of the belief his side are on the up.
Happy"I know that City fans have been waiting for their team to play like this, so I'm happy that they like the way we are playing now," said Petrov.
"We have many good players, a fantastic manager and everything is good for us.
"Newcastle were a good team, but it was great that we could play so well against them."
