Bernardo Corradi is rumoured to be unsettled at Manchester City and could well consider a return to Italy this summer.
Corradi has made little impact following his move to Eastlands from Valencia last year, scoring just three times in 19 Premiership appearances.
He has struggled in front of goal all season and his agent has suggested a return to Rome and former club Lazio is an option.
"In the future, it would appeal to me to discuss a return to Rome for Corradi," Corradi's agent Moreno Roggi is quoted as saying in the Manchester Evening News.
"Bernardo remains a favourite due to his time in the Biancocelesti colours."
City skipper Richard Dunne has questioned the commitment of a number of players in the squad and Roggi has suggested there is tension in the dressing room.
He added: "In Manchester the climate isn't the best - and I'm not just talking about the weather."
